Here I am age 70 Nov 20 2022 . . .
My height 5' 8.6" and weight is 148lbs age 70.
Workouts are a 4 day split. Always warm-up 500m on the water rower.
My apartment building also has indoor pool, hot spa and dry sauna. I have been into advanced Tai Chi Chuan since Feb 1979, includes sword and sabre forms done right and left handed, I do my forms pretty much everyday in my apartment. November 11th - I bought 650g of pure (pharmaceutical grade) creatine monohydrate, it was twice the pre-covid price but what the heck. I'm taking it in warm water plus teaspoon of Wildflower honey (prebiotic). Two weeks twice a day then once a day.
After two weeks the creatine is working really well boosting my lifts and performance.
Don't care to have a load of maltodextrin or other sugars everyday with creatine, read it could lead to alterations in the gut microbiome.
December 8th - bought Micronized L-Glutamine
I also go to the senior centre weight room where they have a leg press, smith machine for squats and bench with Olympic bar which is also good for deadlifts. I use the smith also for pull-ups.
I found a video of the senior centre weight room . . .
The leg press is seen at 2:11 over the guys left shoulder. Heaviest is 280lbs which I use for press and toe push for calves.
The smith machine isn't in the video, nor Oly plates rack, the dumbbell rack which has more heavy than my building fitness room
and the bench for Oly bar isn't shown. but you'll see the Oly bar on the floor. behind the guy doing his shrugs.
