Really sad that it was a 13 year old kid, but the fault lies with the left wing mayor and city hierarchy. If the police are allowed to do their job and the public understands that crime won't be tolerated and that you can't get a way with it this probably would not have happened.

The real fault lies with a culture of violence and crime, that no one will address
It could just as easily be that woman lying dead, killed by one of these "kids"
The liberal left have beaten the cops into a corner.....and NYC, Chicago, L.A. etc, etc, etc are all paying the price
All these cities that have defunded the cops are now all overrun with crime
You couldn't pay me enough to be a NYPD cop....I worked in high crime areas as a fireman, the cops had a tough job then, I don't know how they tolerate it now
