I always liked this book. Sadly, I kind of look like Obeck facially. He died age 62 of a heart attack and I always wondered if it was due to holding breathe doing the iso's over all those years. Bruce Tegner passed at age 55(?) and thought the same about him and iso's. I think those guys may have done them incorrectly and maybe too often. I remember reading Macky's post on Tegners performance: www.tapatalk.com/groups/theofficebodybuildingworkout28918/did-bruce-tegner-hasten-his-own-death-t6889.htmlEDIT: Personally, I take a deep breathe before ANY exertion (punch, kick, iso, lifting an object, and as soon as I exert - I blow the air out - sometimes faster than others depending on the movement. P.S. Obeck's wife was a cutie

Meaning, the exhale/inhale starts a bit before any movement. Never hold your breath. Let the breath lead you.

Heart attacks are the result of underlying cumulative damage. Ur more likely to suffer a stroke than a heart attack by holding ur breath. Eating less frequently & staying away from fast carbs, PED's or hydrogenated foods has more relevance. Arteriosclerosis is the result of eating foods that cause a massive insulin response & deposit plaques on the blood vessels bcuz the body can't manage the rapid sugar response. Calcium score is a separate issue but stay away from milk & milk-like yogurts bcuz they're highly insulinemic. Cheese & heavy yogurts are not insulinemic. Eat light, fast frequently(1,2), stay light, fart proudly & eat your vegetables (billfish take note). Good advice, moxohol. Also, since we have individual differences and tolerances, pay attention to the feedback from your body. e.g. ... I don't eat any dairy anymore because my body indicated "no". Bummer too, because I loved sharp, dry cheeses, but it all had to go.
