I own Disney stock. I don’t like their woke approach, but will hold the position until it recovers. And in spite of their woke management, it will recover. In January of 2021, it was a $200 stock. Now, it’s $95. Their theme parks are packed, no matter how much they raise the prices.
When I invest, I look to make money, not a social statement. While I’m not adding to the position I think anyone who buys this stock now, with a 2-3 year time horizon, will be glad they did.

I'm going to respectfully disagree and here's why: I'd personally steer clear, and not because I don't think that the stock won't eventually recover, but simply because I don't think the stock has hit near to where I think it's headed... Disney is just another media giant that has made themselves irrelevant.

Corporate image is an important element of "the bottom line". Unless, they have a shake up of upper management & a thorough revision of the corporate mission statement they will simply flounder & remain weak.
U can't unzip ur pants & shove it down the publics throat expecting them to coming around & lick their lips too.

Markets are down. Disney, down 50% in the past year. META ( Facebook) over 50%. Amazon, down from $3700 to $2200 (pre split). many other solid companies, getting crushed, from inflation to rising interest rates. All the “ high flyers “ have been slammed
I can assure you, all these companies with solid fundamentals will come back, big time.
Big money doesn’t care about Disneys woke nonsense. And sheep who frequent the parks don’t care, and continue to “ flock” ( pun intended) to their theme parks.
Candidly, I think it will take 2 years for the market to return to the November 2021 highs.
