Don't let them take the guns! I thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks for that I had no knowledge of these riots.

Don't let them take the guns! Someone is lying. @ 3:42 the guy in the yellow shirt is the same video clip that was shown as riot coverage in one of the large cities, Minneapolis, Chicago, Portland, or?, during 2020 (as I recall it was 2020). There may even have been a "news" video posted on this forum during that time that showed exactly the same video. I'd bet there are other clips - in fact, I know there have been many video clips used inappropriately to support a lie because I've seen them - that are advertised as one event, but were not the true story at all. I wonder just how much of what is presented to us is actually true? I doubt if much or possibly any of it is, but it does keep people fearful, stressed and at each others' throats, so mission accomplished for the media owners.

I remember closely following much of coverage of what happened in LA and spread to many other cities across the USA in 1992as it happened and right after. Many neighborhoods deterred rioters and looters with hastily organized neighborhood watch groups armed with whatever firearms could be had. I distinctly remember about a subdivision that was very effectively defended by one man with a single shot .22 caliber rifle. A little stock footage mixed into a true account does not make the whole thing a lie. That was widely done with post WW II accounts of the war.

Not a riot, but about guns and skyjacking. Sound info from America's typical guy about 50 years ago.

I remember the Rodney King riots....they were supposed to spread to NYC on a Friday night and all the stores on the busy avenue closed early And I had to work in the firehouse that night, eight miles through some bad areas to get to work and you could feel tension in the air We had a cop assigned to protect the firehouse and it was a bit tense on the street when we went out during the early hours of the evening, but thankfully no real problems
