Mrs BigBruvOfEnglandUK orders most of our food online from the supermarket to get it delivered and there's quite often shortages of eggs etc. It must be because of Brexit even though we live in Australia. The UK could employ Brits to do casual work on the farms like they used to in the old days. Dodgy food imports have always been a problem. An ex-girlfriend of mine worked at the reference library and I remember she printed off a load of reports from UK customs and excise showing the food they had seized recently that had problems like too much pesticide on them etc.

Every Sunday my gramps would send us out to look for mushrooms that were HUGE like the size of your head and we would chop it up and fry it in butter for breakfast with some toast. Everyone went fruit picking back then as well even the wealthier people, my mum used to take me in the pram , it was a form of socializing as well as a few extra pennies (Used to get paid by the punnet you picked) gone are those days now though, it's all fruit and veg that goes rotten within 3-4 days.
