I'd be totally down with that, just as long as after the picture is taken my dish is topped with a nice big ol' broiled salmon filet, and maybe also a good few sauteed scallops along with a side order of black mussels in garlic sauce... A little SPAM never hurt anybody, and warehouses stocked for decades, you won't be short.

A 12oz can of original Spam costs about the same as a dozen eggs. Comparing 2oz of Spam with 2 eggs:A 2oz serving of Spam (a highly processed meat food - the meat has already been processed before being processed into Spam) has far less nutrition than 2 eggs, and the Spam serving (how many people eat just 1/6 can - 2oz - of spam per meal?) has about 4.5x more calories than 2 eggs, contains added salt, sugar and the chemical sodium nitrite.
The high sugar content makes Spam an addictive "food". I'll stick with eggs. Superior nutrition. Low calories. No processing. No refined, addictive sugar. No chemical preservatives. They also last for a very long time without refrigeration if turned 1/4 every day. This can be done with the carton, so not necessary to turn each individual egg.

That’s the least worry of anyone living in America. Ur dollar just collapsed today when KSA expunged the petrodollar as its prime FOREX. No more reserve currency status. Ppl who work or already retired in the public sector will now be working fulltime at the deli counter wearing stupid hats. It will be a ripple effect down to the municipal level. They’ll go after everyone’s assets to pay for those delicious welfare programs. The US Armed Forces will become moribund & dilapidated with the forthcoming massive spending cuts. The Russians will outclass yanks in terms of firepower logistics mobility & training. Hello conscription again, The US is totally fucked & Canada 🇨🇦 is going down with them. vm.tiktok.com/ZMYVhw5gb/

Inflation got you P.O'd??? Just vent a little next time you're in the store and feel price gouged. "...standing up for my rights as a consumer." is a good line to use when you do this.

Here in Blighty, we have had food shortages since Brexit. Most of our food comes from Europe and brexit has introduced a swag of extra paper work. This has made it much harder and more costly for European exporters to send stuff to the UK, so they just don't bother. Local produce was often picked by workers from eastern Europe. They would come to the UK, live in shit conditions, work 14-16 hours days and then go back after 6 weeks or so with a wad of cash. Now they have to apply for visas and pay for health insurance, so it isn't worth their while any more. It's not unusual for things to disappear from the supermarket shelves for weeks. You make a shopping list and find that you can't fill it. Try again next week. I haven't seen extra large eggs for weeks, so I'm having to buy small ones and have two or three to make up the size. Fresh fruit and veg doesn't last as long as it used to, owing to the extra customs forms and full checks haven't been implemented yet. Smuggling is rife. Before brexit, truck drivers might try and hide a few hundred cigarettes in with a load. Now whole truck loads of things are being bought in as the checks for goods coming into the UK are very light. If full checks were implemented, which were supposed to start 2 years ago, trade would grind to a halt. There was lots of back slapping over this news item from last October 99 million cigarettes seized at UK port It's probably the tip of iceberg.
Makes me glad I'm vegetarian.
Brexit has been well worth having blue passports (which are actually black) rather than the red ones and the 4% drop in GDP. The UKs economy is bottom of the G20, lower even than Russia. Brexiters blame the poor state of the economy on covid and the war in Ukraine. AFAIK, Russia has experienced both of these things. It has been said that those of us who said brexit isn't going well, just don't believe enough.
