Some of Bruce's back and shoulder exercises may do Your shoulder some good. Surprised with the band work You do that doesn't help. There's certain positions that my shoulder just doesn't like when I use any kind of resistance. Even tensing the shoulder muscles in some positions can aggravate it, Michael m8.

Did You ever get an MRI to see what was wrong with it?

No. I went to a physio and he told me it was a biceps tendon injury in the shoulder and I think where other muscles and tendons have been trying to compensate for the injured tendon it has just destabalised the shoulder in certain movements.
Anyway, back on topic. I couldn't find a comfortable position to do the doorway pullover kind of exercise so I just went back to doing them with an adjustable dumbbell.
