Who do you want defending you? Against who, deuce ? Against anything that requires a defense from. Also people that can go on the offense too because that is one of the best defenses. The military's basic job regardless of any image they want to project is to break things and kill people to give the politicians on their side the leverage to make the negotiations to end the conflict to their advantage. |

Then in America's case, you're right. You ARE in a bit of trouble. The politicians are owned by large donations to their bank accounts by the PTB who call the shots. Decent patriotic soldiers are giving their lives for the Big Money elite.....you know...the 1% and their back-up, the following 9%. As for the US, it's two separate countries right now. When they come back home and are discharged, they may find their old job promised to them by good ol' Bill has either been taken by an illegal immigrant, or Bill's business has been bought by a corporate who made Bill an offer he couldn't refuse, and our national hero's job has been shopped to China, a country that is opposed to America in so many ways (except commerce when it suits them). What price a "defence" force then ? Who exactly are they "defending" ? |
