Maybe macky can explain this :
: Systemic Racism in Chicago - Explained
1. 2,240 Shootings, 440 Homicides from January thru July 2020. Almost every shooter and homicide were BLACK - 97.7%, but BLM and Chicago‘s Democratic Politicians blame “police and systemic racism.”
2. The Chicago mayor is black.
3. The Superintendent of Police is black.
4. The Cook County States’ Attorney is black.
5. The Chief Judge of Cook County Circuit Courts is black.
6 The Illinois Attorney General is black.\
7. The Chicago Fire Department Commissioner is black.
8. The Cook County Board President is black.
9. The State Senate Majority Leader is black.
10. The Illinois Lieutenant Governor is black.
11. The Illinois Secretary of State is black.
12. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is black.
13. The Cook County Clerk is black.
14. The Chicago Treasurer is black.
15. The Chicago Police Board President is black.
16. The Chicago Transit Authority President is black.
17. The CEO of Chicago Public Schools is black.
18. The Commissioner of the Department of Water Management is black.
19. 40% of the City Council belong to the Black Caucus.
Their average pay is $122,304 annually each, PLUS $122,000 per year in expenses. Their pension for life is 80% of last pay.
Republican head count in the City Council is ZERO.
William Hale Thompson was the last Republican Mayor of Chicago in 1931. For 89 years Democrats have controlled the Chicago Mayor’s Office.
At the end of fiscal 2019 the Chicago deficit was $838,200,000!
Can someone please explain how it's possible for Republicans, Donald Trump in particular or white people in general, to be responsible for Chicago's horrendously dismal condition?
Anyone?

Chicago explains BLM and the systemic racism BS very well by example. Don't need to do much thinking about it.

Magnus I heard You mention this stuff about the skilled trades and earning six figures. What trades are considered skilled trades? Trades like plumbing, HVAC, etc... ? Is the six figures only in New York? I guess stuff like I do is not considered a skilled trade because I don't make anywhere near six figures? Just curious, thanks. Yesterday I made cash money dropping a big locust tree, cutting it up and throwing it down a hill by myself. I didn't ask for any price but the lady was very generous. Yes, plumbing, electrical, HVAC & Refrigeration etc. are all very well paid, and no, not only in New York. As a matter of fact the pay scale is higher in Philly for HVAC and Refrigeration guys, and in many other places like Chicago and the Pacific Northwest the pay rate for a serviceman is over $50 an hour PLUS benefits and a pension. Years ago you either had to know someone or get lucky to get into the trade unions, but these days because of the manpower shortage you have all sorts of people coming in from other countries and taking these jobs. People come here from places like Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, South America, with nothing but a set of balls on 'em, seeking out and signing up with the union(s), and in a few short years of working they're buying multi family homes and socking money away in their pensions. Thanks Magnus. Around my way I haven't seen those jobs too much. It's lower end jobs like Wawa and Train which I believe make central airs or heaters. Probably about 15 years ago I tried to get into the electrical union. I'm not real smart school wise. I failed the algebra part of the test so I couldn't get in.

Really, I must say m8s, I could have worked continuously throughout the past year plus and made decent money at an honest job. I have friends that I see regularly that have done just that. No one stopped working who wanted to work, as far as I'm aware. But, you won't hear that on CNN, m8s.

There's plenty of good jobs out there for anyone who wants to work and is willing to make the effort to meet the requirements Many jobs will train....if you need remedial help in some areas to meet the requirements....go get it ! It's worth it I spoke with an aircraft mechanic recently who told me they are desperate for people Opportunities exist in many areas.....but people have to make the effort to seize them

Yup, training was part of the package for CNC stuff & etc. At my last job, one of the coworkers was from a temp service Nice guy, good worker, but had never made any effort to improve himself or his work situation He was in his early 50s, HS dropout and no GED We spoke one afternoon and I was amazed to learn of all the nasty jobs that he had worked on through the temp agency over the years for low pay This guy had nothing to look forward to except more shitty jobs, no pension, no benefits .....nothing except social security And he was a knowledgeable guy, well versed in many areas I am still baffled at how this guy, who had the smarts to do better didn't care enough to make his life better

Almost every shooter and homicide were BLACK - 97.7%, but BLM and Chicago‘s Democratic Politicians blame “police and systemic racism.” 2. The Chicago mayor is black. 3. The Superintendent of Police is black. 4. etc etc Matey, I think it's grossly unfair of you to infer that I'm somehow "all for the blacks" etc when I've been perfectly clear that it's America's economic disaster that I've been on about, the CIA, the PTB and the Capitol riots etc, MSM issues and other aspects of American life and agency, and some Trump (and others) observations that are clearly not in dispute. You know darn well that I've never disputed your experiences with black neighbourhoods, their shoddy conduct and the way they run down every decent living environment. What I HAVE disputed re black happenings is the Chauvin killing, the incompetent attempted police arrest and subsequent shooting in the back of a fleeing offender, but that was nothing to do with the victims being black whatsoever. That was police brutality and incompetence, NOTHING to do with what you're (rightfully) on about, in itself. . In fact I'm sorry for the lady police officer who accidently shot the fleeing offender with a gun instead of a Taser. She DID warn the offender, and let's face it, black or white or purple, if he had only done as he was told he would be alive today and well. These types of people simply do not want to behave, so that's what happens now and then. They are the authors of their own demise. I wish you wouldn't lump everything together and get so angry with a good friend in your posts that has pointed out basic facts that anybody with a few hours can easily check on the Net, including FBI and CIA files, and other US govt agencies. That have nothing to do with black issues and white "guilt" that you're talking about. I am not, and never have, disputed your or Mags life experiences with black neighbourhoods and their behaviour, and I certainly will never do that. In the meantime, the other things that I post I'm always happy to be proved wrong and upgrade my knowledge if I'm in error, but please try and keep the subjects separate and not lump me in with those idiots that pander to lazy bastards that do not want to obey the law, and trash their environment.

In my over 40 years of doing the landlord thing, I've only had to do one eviction and wouldn't you guess it, it was involving a person of color who was "surprised" she didn't get her security deposit back when I evicted her, which was a long and drawn out process because California eviction laws are tenant friendly. Here's what one of the kid's bedrooms looked like after she "cleaned up" before having to leave. The rest of the house was similarly "clean."
