Long time lurker and user of Sierra products. Found a set of videos of Dr. Len Schwartz of Heavyhands fame performing his Pan-x workout. Do a YouTube search for Panaerobic Longstrength channel. The exercises look pretty intense and are definitely innovative. Now I’ve got to figure out how to build one or use my isotrainer on my pull-up ...

Attaching a Sierra Strap to a chin up bar is a descent way to create a Pan-X facsimile . The HOOKs attached to the Strap allows for the performance of dips . Btw, a chin up bar that is secured with brackets is best ; otherwise some exercise moves may dislodge the bar.

These videos have given me lots of ideas. I didn’t realize they’d already Been posted by heavyhands user. I’ve been doing heavyhands off and on for 6 months and I’ve seen the results. My RHR went down 10 beats a minute until my Foot injury took me out of commission

I don’t know if Heavyhands User is going to be able to publish the Pan-X manual but I’d be very interested in seeing the caloric burn rates/METs for the various exercises

Hi Jack, I actually built my own Pan-X out of 1 and 1/2 inch PVC pipe, the arms swing, but the bar and arm heights are not adjustable, I built it to my height and liking. john

I was just starting heavyhands and getting great results when my plantar fasciitis and heel Spurs started acting up. I’m waiting for surgery from the VA so it may be a while before i can walk normally without pain. That’s what you get when you jump off tanks in your youth. I’m excited about starting Panaerobics and think it’ll be what i need. What i really want to know is the MET equivalent of the workouts. One of the exercises Dr. Schwartz says gave you 12 METs. I’m interested in knowing how the other exercises are in comparison.
