If you’re struggling to figure out where to start with your New Years fitness routine, consider this:
- Walk daily for 20-60 minutes - Eat protein at every meal - Drink water BEFORE meals - Strength train (at least) 2x/week - Get to bed before 10pm - Keep a food & activity log
You can gain plenty of strength with just ten reps a day of the big lifts.
Pick five lifts - push, pull, hinge, squat, carry - and vary the intensity throughout the week.
Not every workout needs to be insane. Challenges are fun, but consistency is what drives success.
30 minute workout:
Minute 1 - #kettlebell swings x 10 Minute 2 - goblet squat x 5 Minute 3 - chin up x 3
10 rounds total.
Weight: 24 - 32kg.
