Your tune is unavailable here, Matey. What's it called.... Try this one Macky... You'll like it, guaranteed... I'm playing it right now and my parrot loves it, he's dancing around ! I'm pretty sure I posted Jeff Beck's Bolero quite a few pages back, Mags. Matey commented that he liked it. It's nice to know that your parrot and myself share the same taste in music I'll open a fresh box of crackers and have a scoff while I'm listening. It's inevitable now that repeats are gonna be posted in, but frankly I don't care. Timeless music can be posted as many times as seen fit. 50 years time when I'm 123, I'll still like this number when you or Matey post it in. It's also quite apparent that you are very fond of that quiet beat sort-of shuffling along, like a heartbeat ticking away, the beat of all your three other posts, even by different artists. It's a nice background to a workaday atmosphere, or that time in late evening when you're kicking back with a wee drinky while gazing out the window at the night lights. At least that's what that sort of rhythm/beat feels like to me. It's a backup to any sound or composition that one can think of to super-impose over it, and I remember that sort of thing clearly 45 years ago on a Sunday 4am morning at the Muso's club after a big night, just quietly jamming away.

I love all kinds of music with a few exceptions, and even then in those types of genre that I'm not crazy about I'll like a song here and there... Take 'country' music...please Not crazy about it, but here and there I'll hear something that 'clicks' with me. I first heard this particular song on the stereo system of my friends Harley Street Glide when we were riding and swapped bikes for awhile. I'm a 'sport bike' guy and he's a Harley guy, but I can scrape the pegs and go 'round corners on a Harley faster than most squids on their 1000cc boy racer wannabe's can. He's 25 years older than me and it was his first time on a sport bike with a screaming inline 4. He was riding my Suzuki like you would a big V-Twin and thought my bike was "slow" until I told him to keep the revs all the way up around 10,000 to make it come alive... You had to see him at the next stop light, he was yippin' and yappin' and hollerin' like he just had the most fun he's ever had ! ....anyways, this song was playing when I got on the Harley, liked it so much I hit 'Repeat' and proceeded to hit the turns extra quick and scrape up those shiny pegs

Here’s a band I saw ‘live’ at least 10 times at Madison Square Garden…

I'm not a big country fan either, but I like the odd one. I've heard quite a few versions of Six Days On The Road, but this one is the only one I like, especially for the clever guitar work as well. Btw, I stayed away from motor bikes all my life. It's probably another reason why I'm still alive. Got into enough trouble on four wheels, thank you very much.

The Marshall Tucker Band is considered ‘rock’ but it’s really an eclectic fusion of blues, jazz, and country…

They’re so underrated, their music feels like an old comfortable pair of shoes (cowboy boots?) to me… 🤠
