Offloading some of your weight with the non-hanging arm is a good progression. And the Sierra Suspension Strap would work great for that, over the bar and run through a loop.

Great video Wiffet, Steve Maxwell says that such feats are more skill than strength, what do you think ? I know what Steve means about certain types of skill-based moves. However this one is really all about grip strength. The leg raise part isn’t that much harder than doing it with two hands on the bar. It’s the grip part that is the real killer.

Grip strength was the first thing I thought of. And shoulder health. Very impressive move.
