With this pandemic many videos and stuff are going around. This one a co-worker shared, pretty gross.

Very disturbing, that nonsense needs to be shut down permanently...

Asians eat anything. Everyone seems to be convinced that the Wuhan wet market was the source of the virus, and that certainly is the distribution centre of it. But I wonder where the virus originally came from ?
We know the unhygienic (in our standards) conditions in some of these Asian markets, but they ARE only central points for the arrival and sale of "produce".
The produce itself has come from somewhere else, and this virus could have originated in some country area, for example. Chinese (to be fair, others as well) markets and restaurants here have been caught doing things that none of us approve of. One large open restaurant that was probably the most popular among South Auckland eateries was caught washing their plates on the concrete floor out the back with a hose, but they WERE hosing them down thoroughly.
One would hardly think that a wet market in Wuhan would not have the same sort of cold-water cleaning as well, leaving no pools of fetid filth allowing a virus to mutate and flourish ?

When I was in the Army stationed in South Korea during early 1970’s, I learned they eat dog. The meal was called gaegoki. I never had the balls to try it but legend had it many drunk soldiers did and forever more now lift their legs to take a piss every time they approach a fire hydrant.

I understand the howling at the full moon is also a bit of a problem during night sentry duty.

Thanks vegetus. I like the Guardian. It covered the Australian fires well, and the articles are always interesting, as the one you've linked is.

There's not much one can say to that, except that one day I hope all Mankind has advanced to the stage where that sort of thing is ancient history. Doesn't look like happening any time soon.

Native Americans still eat dog to this day.

Apparently you don’t have to go to Wuhan to experience a wet market. Ask Mag for directions closer to home.

How long before the Wuhan Market will be the presidents fault too? I've had to turn the news off because if I would have kept watching I'd be giving certain folks free teeth removal so they could be like there hero Nancy P. and struggling to keep their new teeth in place.
