10 litres/kg is almost exactly the same as 1 gallon/lb. Isn't that weird? "A pint is a pound the world around" That's a little mnemonic we use here in the USA, which is still on at outdated system.

I was brought up on the imperial system. Love it. It's got soul. "He stood 6 foot 6 and weighed 245. Big John." It just wouldn't have the same soul if, "He stood 198.12 centimeters and weighed 111.13 kilograms.
