When I was young, I did manual labor work which was quite rigorous. Every morning on my way into work, I would stop at the local diner and eat their healthy portion of hash browns (or the biscuits and gravy, depending on my mood), 3 dinner plate size pancakes, 2 eggs SS-up, butter and not much syrup if any (I liked using lots of butter instead of syrup). Kept me fueled up all day from two big plates full of food.
Oh, and I wasn't fat.

I ate breakfast, still do. These days it's one slice of some German Pumpernickel I get at Aldi. (actually 1/2 of one of the slices in the package) and some peanut butter. Even when I was working physical labor, if I put down what you did Mr Potatohead, I would have had major colon blow within an hour. But I definitely think not piling on the simple sugars in the morning meal is a good thing.
Myself I wonder if that isn't because breakfast (break fast) is typically the first meal after a period of no eating. I'm wondering if it's that or the time of day. Would be interesting to see the results for DIT after the first meal of the day for the folks doing intermittent fasting, especially if that first meal was not until the PM hours.

Earn your calories by being a good hunter and gatherer or just do a Pierini high intensity workout . Or so I've heard .

Most of the time I do eat a big breakfast. I exercise in the morning then do the strenuous part of my day. If I eat good and filling food I can last until lunch without getting hungry. This also depends on how hard my job is that day.

I don't really like to eat until mid afternoon. I'm also incredibly overweight.

Today I had black cherries and apple together, then Gr8 Northern Beans, mushrooms, avocado, shallot, hot sauce & sea salt, eaten on lettuce leaves.

I had my standard morning "breakfast" of a strong cup of Italian Roast coffee with nothing added; era squisito.
Will open my feeding window beginning at about 1:00 pm today.
