So basically this is a nylon sheet with handles on each corner. www.dragondoor.com/products/nm001/?F_ActivityBoostId=591I can see how the idea probably is great for cardio and a bit like using battle ropes, but obviously a DIY version would be easy. Any thoughts on DIY optimization of this with items to be found at your local farm store?

My "free" version of a cardio burner - toss in strength endurance too - is an exercise I've named "Here comes the bride". You carry your missus up the stairs for rounds. You can also do the piggyback version is that's easier for you. Carry up and walk down holding hands is one round. Complete 10 to 20 rounds based on your workout goals. I have a saying, "Never marry a lady you can't carry up a flight of stairs." Another one is "Don't marry a lady you can't overhead press for a single rep." I haven't done barbell overhead press work lately so I might be 10 lbs. under being able to overhead press my wife's weight. Used to put her on my shoulders and full squat her for reps. She wouldn't let me do that now but if she did, I could.

It is winter where I am and I have been mostly working out in the basement with bands and some weights.
My strength endurance work has been done doing work with a 10 lb mace and a pair of three pound clubbells. I also have a Xiser stepper I use for burst training.
The sheet idea seems space efficient enough that I might do it in my basement.
Cardio is my biggest challenge right now, though. I feel like I need some variety in circuit training bursts. It is my least favorite thing to be doing right now, whereas when I am outside I enjoy walking for long distances.

I have a 60 lb sandbag that would probably be a slightly underweight stand in for the lady, however.

I used to do them a lot, but I had knee surgery and I kind of feel like they could be tough on my knee as I have gained some weight as a result of my injury and the effect it had on my training.

Burpees and bad knees = not a good date. Brisk walking or Heavy Hands with light dumbbells.

Until then I have the Xiser or just walking back and forth around the basement.
