I do not really track carbs, but I sent this to a friend who thought it was great so here goes. I think our own Whiffet is at the 100 to 150 level if memory serves me right
I think this is very accurate
If you simply remove the unhealthiest carb sources from your diet, refined wheat and added sugars, then you'll be well on your way to improved health.

I think the whole 30 diet is a good one. It basically takes you back to eating how we did prior to about 1970 or 1980.

The Whole 30 Diet seems good. There are other diet recommendations that make sense to me. The J.J. Virgin Elimination Diet seems good for guiding a person to finding what works for them currently. Deep Nutrition is a book that I like. The No-S Diet (thorough elimination of all Sugar) is another good starting point. Ultimately, only the individual can determine what foods give them the best result, but a diet program provides a starting point, a place to jump off into finding what works best for your unique body preferences. Prescribed or recommended diet programs are best seen as just that, good suggestions for a place to start. I think most people know what real food is, but they are strongly addicted by engineered food, so their gut/brain make excuses for eating fake, manufactured, factory processed and adulterated foods. Same as a drug addiction, but it's labeled as "food", so they rationalize it as OK.

I've never tracked calories or macros but i do make a point of eating less carbs as i find my body works best this way . I do 2 meals a day , the first meal is usually something like a 5 egg omelette with bacon or a big salad with eggs and fish then for dinner i usually have some pork belly with veg and potatoes . If I snack it will be Brazil nuts and dark chocolate .

I'm a "carber' and find it works for me. My most recently weekly average is 283 grams of carbs a day. I couldn't do low carb; well, maybe I could with desire and discipline but I have neither of them for that way of eating Different strokes for different folks.

I do better on low carb but the carbs that are part of whole 30 are fine. In other words the refined carbs, at least for me are the problematic ones.

I find gong lower on the carbs works well for easy fat loss with minimal hunger. However my training does suffer.
Last year I got very lean and ate plenty of carbs -- although I find that the more carbs I eat the more I crave.
