Stormshadow posted about this guy's channel. I thought this video was interesting.

I watched this one and the one he did about diet on the other thread. His video editing is quite distracting to me, so I just listen. I like what I'm hearing from him, a lot.

This video kind of reminds me of what that guy Pete does. I know some guys don't do pullups, but I agree with what he says about pullups. I never hang all the way down when doing pullups or chins. The only time I hang is when I'm doing bar hangs.

Cant listen at the monent, what is the gist of it pleasr? He says if you do a full range of motion, then quite often the muscle you want to work is only taking the strain for part of that range of motion.

I know that only few people here use self-resistance (SR) for muscle training. However, SR has obvious plus - it allows keeping ~constant high muscle tension through the full ROM and through the full set. Thus, there is a certain similarity between high tension SR and isometrics in their influence on muscles.

I was very happy with the results. I am now doing a routine of isos, self-resistance and KSHD. This is the time of year I slow down, back up, and regroup, so this routine is working out well. Also, that cat scratch that hospitalized me for 3 days feels like it has taken something out of me.

Bruce I hope You feel better soon. A change in what you're doing sometimes will re-energize. Did the doctor say You would have a lingering effect from that cat scratch?

No, he didn't. But I just somehow feel like I have less energy. Getting freaking old doesn't help, either. But, anyway, I am happy with the routine I've developed and I will never stop exercising in one form or another. In the past I have told myself that if I ever hit that stage to where I can no longer or am unwilling to continue with my knock-down-drag-out-to-the-max PR workouts, I know a lot of stuff that I can use throughout the rest of my life.
