I lost a lot of weight by doing something every day exercise wise. I think as lifting enthusiasts we like intensity. The problem with intensity is that you can't repeat it that often, so the calorie burn from it is infrequent. I did a lot better doing the Canadian 5bx wrokouts daily and eating smart.

Use your Google machine to search David Goggins. He lost over 100 lbs in 3 months to make weight to enter the Navy Seal training program( talk about an outlier)
