I think Zass probably used chains as it looked quite impressive and it was probably easier to get than adjustable straps. I have used chain in the past. Straps are better in my opinion as you don't need to use handles for all of the exercises. I often do things like a standing isometric rear delt fly with a cargo strap made into a loop and try to force the loop apart with my wrists rather than pulling on it with handles. You can also stand on or attach straps to your feet more comfortably or instead of needing a base or door anchor. Mrs BigBruvOfEnglandUK threw a couple of chains in the recycling bin yesterday as we are moving to Brisbane in a week so we are getting rid of anything that's not been used in a while. I didn't enjoy seeing them go but I can't remember the last time I used them, m8s.

Bruv, just a thought. I wonder if Bruce ever made any extra Isometric straps. It was made really well made. It is better than Blue Speedos belt.

That's all true but loop handles that can be attached to chains are then easily adjustable, whereas putting a series of loops into a webbing strap sounds like a nuisance to me.

I have no intention of putting loops into webbing straps. I would buy one (Or two) or get them made. When I make a cargo strap into a loop I just mean attaching one end to the other and adjusting it to size. This kind of thing. www.bunnings.com.au/grunt-25mm-x-4m-pull-tie-down-strap_p4310166 This is a fairly flimsy one but you should get the idea, m8.

I dug one of the out of the bin earlier and did some exercises with it. It was ok but the cargo straps are handier so I threw it back in the bin, m8.

Well you should at least mark appropriate lengthy on the strap to be consistant m8, also I would say that strap looks a bit flimsy m8 maybe find something a bit more robust in the itnerest of safety.

I see that we now have 404 members, m8s. Do you think that is an error?

I like the movement but you need something other than your feet as anchors. The body is hella strong in that postion. Go all out and you will need something better than your feet.
