Feeling a little guilty that my The Hook and resistance bands haven’t been getting my attention lately, yesterday I pulled them out of my backpack gym bag and put them to use with two of my grandsons, ages almost 5 and almost 4.
Using the yellow lighter bands for each hook handle, and with my arms near their elbows helping them with proper form, they both banged out a set of 10 reps of the overhead press. A little assistance was necessary for the almost 4 grandson.
We then tried some other exercises like rows and squats, then pulled out the suspension trainer for some tug a rope like pulling by them with me doing assisted sit-ups.
They’ll be ready for kettlebells in a couple years thanks to The Hook.

Great times with the grandchildren, pierini. Over all too soon, one way or the other. Let us enjoy the golden days while they last.
I encouraged my daughter and now my grandsons to play on their school overhead bars as much as possible. It resulted in my daughter being stronger than most of the guys in her class by the time she was 13.

That's really cool, kids that young having fun with the hook. Gives them an opportunity to learn what they can do to stay strong later on in life. Way to go man.
