Yeah makes sense. One thing I think I learned as I got older was common sense. When I'm lifting stuff now I make sure of how I'm lifting. I feel I know my body pretty good. I also think the Stuart Mcgill Big 3 and some of the direct ab work I do goes a long way. Some may disagree but that's ok. But I do realize what You said Macky, it can happen unexpectedly at any time. Again I do feel for You guys.

Okay, so are you going to allow a surgeon to cut you open and maybe find no hernia ? Or carry on like I did for years with a hernia that a doctor says is not ?
I was in no pain for all the years the hernia was there but not treated. It was only when the cut became larger and I began to squelch when I moved that I had the bright idea that it might be time to get it sewn up. Very clever some of us, I don't think.
If you are in pain, then something resolute has to be done. You can't afford complications of any sort, hernia or not.
Hahahaha I'm doing fuck all about it! I'm not taking a gamble and let some doc cut me open because maybe, perhaps, possibly it's a hernia. These doctors need to make their mind up. WTF! They gave me completely different diagnoses Family Doc prescribed me Ibuprofen which I took until it was empty.. so 10 days. It helped a lot, I was very surprised. During that time I started training everything except my abs again. I felt some mild pain here and there but it was definitely getting better. I remember after the 10th day I went for a run and felt it a little bit, but nothing serious. Now I rarely feel pain in that area. Who knows what it was. After I did some research I found out that groin pain can be literally caused by anything. Maybe I hurt my spine or hips a little bit, or I just tore some ligament or muscle down there.. who the fuck knows. If it's a hernia, then it will eventually get bigger and then I'll get it fixed. Right now I'll keep training everything but my abs until the mild pain which I still get every now and then disappeared completely, then I will resume my ab training again.
