This is by far one of the best core exercises imo. I don't think there is a better way to hit the obliques. I actually believe that this anti-rotation core strength you build with the pallof press is far more useful and has more carry over to most physical activities than the crunching ab strength you usually train in your core workouts. Btw, check out the poll at the top and let me know what YOU consider the best core exercises
