Michael, those carries were a 20kg KB in each hand, maybe I should have better described. You explained it perfect. I said I like one arm suitcase carries. But I should try Your farmer carries(two arm suitcase carries) one day. What part of Your body did You feel these in besides Your grip?

Very sore from yesterday’s dip workout. Today, did some core work, a 3 mile walk, and some grip work ( bar hangs, finger hangs, and some plate pinching for time ) .

12th of Juni I did a good leg workout and my hamstrings are still super sore tdoay which surprises me.
Today I did..
Warmup: ~30 seconds hold on the dip bar arms extended 1 set facepull, external rotation
Workout: 3 sets floor chest flys (hit a PR) 3 sets dips (band assisted) 3 sets UCV raises 2 sets triceps press downs 2 sets standing overhead cable triceps extensions
Cooldown: 1 set facepull, external rotation ~30 seconds hold on the dip bar arms extended
Dips felt significantly easier and more comfortable than last week. I leaned more forward which puts much more emphasis on the chest and it felt overall much better in the shoulders too. Triceps still got super pumped regardless. First time doing standing overhead cable extensions, felt different than the triceps press downs I usually do.
I hit a PR on the chest flys, did one new exercise and improved a lot on the dips. My chest already feels sore.. that's it for today. I could do another workout in the evening but sometimes it's best to leave when things are at their best.
Anyone else here who trains all ways i.e. weights, bodyweight and cable exercises?

Yesterday: Overhead squats, mid position and quarter/lockout, iso strap + bar, arms to full length shoulder width.
3-4 sets of 5 seconds(approximately) to warm up.
4 sets as much force output as I could exert for as long as I could hold (5-10 seconds), last set force output was smaller and dropped way faster than in first set.

JR: Do yo expect to do this again tomorrow or wait a day or two? I'd be interested to know how you feel tomorrow. Mr. potatohead, no, I will do it again in 6 days, more or less. As for how I will feel tomorrow, depends on the number of sets I do. If I do lots of them and all out, it may be too much and I will feel worn out. If I listen to my body I usually do the exact number and I will feel great. I train 3 times per week most of the time, so tomorrow or the next day I will do workout B or C. Right now my routine is as follows: A) oh squat (mid position and quarter), pullover (with the strap around my shoulders and a bar against my upper abs), press (optional because oh squat hits the shoulders and arms hard, mid or quarter position) B) front squat (2/3 or quarter position), power curl (135 to 90 degrees), neck flexion and extension (with strap anchored to something, neutral position) C) deadlift variation (mid or low position), bridge press (floor press with back arched, contact points are shoulders and feet, quarter position) Edit:There was an error in the deadlift position: it should be low or mid, not mid or quarter

I also use grenadier grips in most of the lifts, thus my forearms/hands get a good workout almost always. The oh squat done as I stated with the grips is brutal.

Yesterday:
Morning
2 sets facepulls (warumup/cooldowns) 6 sets lat pulls in the morning
Evening
2 sets facepulls (warumup/cooldowns) 6 sets rows
Today:
External rotation (warmup) 6 sets overhead presses Rotating through front raises, lateral raises, rear delt raises and y-raises until fatique
Felt very rehabilitating in the shoulder joint and I got a good pump in the shoulders and traps. I still don't understand why people train their traps seperately.. it's easily the most developed muscle on my body because it gets worked from facepulls, rows and shoulders exercises. There is no point to train the upper traps with isolation exercises if you ask me

..... There is no point to train the upper traps with isolation exercises if you ask me I do few, if any, isolation exercises. I like to do compound exercises, and try to fatigue as many muscle groups as I can during any one exercise. JRG: You mentioned "external rotation (warm up)". Were those exercises any of the ones shown HERE.
