I devoted today's workout to training the most neglected muscle in your body - your big toe. Would that be the hallucis flexor longus or the hallucis extensor longus? (I learned this crap when I was training as a fitness instructor about 25 years ago. I have no idea why I can remember it.)

I’ve returned to my Xing Yi Quan daily training and decided to refresh my fighting skill because of the recent stupid situation at the hospital. I thought that at my age these situations were excluded from my life because I do not attend hot places. I was wrong! Be ready anytime and at any place to meet a psycho.

My workouts now are burpees-centric. I’m also doing pull-ups/chin-ups, bar dips and finally started back up with the kettlebells doing just KB swings for time being.
I’m going to the pool as often as possible but consider my time there as cooling and fun even though I do get in some freestyle stroke lap swimming.
I’m not doing any running currently. trying to save my energy for the burpees workouts.

Today, a thousand Ping Shuai swinging arms reps, and two rounds of Ba Duan Jin, one seated, one standing. Any questions, please refer to my training logs.

I like xingyi but I only learnt the first three punches and not the turns. I still practice them regularly in the office when everyone else has gone home.

Today I went back to my tree wobbling, including an isometric leg press/backlift from underneath a crooked tree. I'm also still doing a load of wrist curls (sets of 100) most mornings and today I did normal curls too, sets of 40. In the evening I did some Janda situps until my abs cramped and then some band side-presses, sets in the 3-8 range.
