Re: Gada or Mace (Macebell)
On the old Zen forum, I posted a pic of my two DIY gadas that I made from black pipes/caps and bowling balls. These have 3' and 2' handles. I also have an adjustable one made from black pipe and fittings with Oly plates adjustable in 5# increments. That is my longest one at 4' (48") for the handle.
Here a Gada/Mace master. Paul has a bunch of youtube material.
Another guy to check out is Richard (Army) MaGuire for Indian Club swinging.
This stuff was in the "Martial Arts" section of the old forum.

Found a pic of the bowling ball gada with the 3' handle: The black pipe is threaded and JB Welded into the thumb hole to make sure it stays together. The jug is one of my DIY KB's filled with rock. I use them for loaded carries, lifts and swings. Here's the pic of the adjustable gada with the 4' handle. Inside the 2" pipe where the plates are loaded is a solid steel billet which adds a little extra wt to the end: The PVC pipe sleeve is a spacer to keep lees than capacity plates from shifting during swings. Except for the end cap on the 2" pipe which is hand tightened to change plates, fittings are cranked on tight.

Here's another video by Paul showing different movements and practice of them with a broom before using the weighted gada:
Nice for beginners or experienced for warm ups.

I didn't get into it seriously but I also tried out mace swings with my throwing hammer. It seems like something where once you get a feel for the technique you can go a hell of a lot heavier than when you first pick one up. If you go for time rather than reps, which is what they seem to advise, then it can be quite hypnotic practice.
