For tonight's dinner I al danted some chopped onion and green pepper in my microwavable steamer and then I stirred that into some cooked brown rice along with kidney beans and sardines in Louisiana hot sauce. It was pretty good. It was filling and satisfying.

I like spicy. I have a hot sauce that I buy from a local truck farmer who makes it from tomatoes and peppers they grow. A little goes a long way. It's really hot, but flavorful.
I tried Dave's Insanity Sauce once. Threw most of it out. It was just burning hot with no flavor - I guess for people who have something to prove about eating hot stuff. That shit was the worst hot sauce I've ever tried.
BTW, The best commercial hot sauce I've had is Gator Hammock Gator Sauce (their standard item). Not extremely hot, but, it's tasty!

You might want to try my sardine thingy. It's got lotsa protein and Omega-3. The onions and green peppers have some vitamins, but I don't know what.

I had some shrimp, wild rice and arugula. Had some onions and peppers mixed in with the rice and shrimp.
