Sorry for the overly dramatic title of this thread but what I just experienced 30 minutes ago could maybe save someone else's life.
Here's what happened with plenty of details which might be of relevance later:
Today is my off day, I didn't do much except of laying on the sofa and watching some tv, it was a lazy day. I didn't workout. I didn't eat much either. I had a slight headache and took an aspirin. Later I decided to take a bath. So I'm in the bathtub, the water is pretty hot just how I like it and I'm in there for maybe 30 minutes? Probably longer I didn't watch the clock. I then decided to standup and get out of the bathtub. Instantly I felt what I wouldn't necessarily describe as pain but an uncomfortable feeling at the inner side of my legs. I don't know what it was but in my words I would describe it like my venes or arteries were cramping, I mean that's how it felt like. I had a hard time breathing, I was dizzy, my field of view got more and more narrow.. and it was this moment where I should've sat the fuck down. Next moment I find myself on the ground right besides the bathtub with the shower curtain below me. Every single plastik hook which fixated the shower curtain was shattered in pieces. Luckily I fell right on the bath rug and a couple clothes which softened my fall. I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this but if you pass out while standing and fall on concrete like bottom you get knocked out badly, maybe get a brain bleed or break your neck straight away. Whatever, I was lucky. I don't know for sure how long I was laying there unconcious but I feel like it wasn't very long. I was unconcious before I hit the ground though that's for sure. Apart from a slight pain in my neck the fall itself didn't do much damage because I fell on the bath rug. Anyways, I get back up, still dizzy, I open the window, have a laugh because I can't believe what just happened and I take a seat. Next thing I know I'm waking up on the ground again! I don't know if anyone here had a similar incident but it's VERY strange when you suddenly find yourself at a different place. At least my brain was working and I knew where I am and what happened. Yeah that's it pretty much. I had a good meal afterwards and feel pretty OK right now. Gosh, imagine if that would've killed me. What a silly way to go out. Not even spectacular enough to make it into 1000 Ways to Die but still kinda embarassing to go out like that especially at 23. Would've took at least a couple weeks until anyone would've noticed too. Oh man
I'm telling you this because I don't want you to make the same mistake. I don't know exactly what caused it but I think the aspirin, the low intake of food, the long bath all accumulated to it. If you feel dizzy, take a seat or lay down.
