I've only seen the 2nd and 3rd episodes but I bet the 1st episode, the shortest one, is the best. The documentaries were all made by Rogue Fitness and available on youtube, that's the first one there in machinehead's post.

I watched the Sandow Episode on "Legends" and most of it is information, if you're familiar with the history of physical culture, etc., will be familiar. The ending included information that I wasn't familiar with (won't spoil it for others), but, I was quite surprised to learn. The second show about Apollon was ok -- some carry over from Sandow, but, I couldn't imagine what this guy could do using today's diet and training knowledge. Natural +18" arms all through various standard strongman lifts. Geeze...
Found myself fast forwarding through Strongland...interesting, but, a bit slow.

Saw the Sandow segment as well.
When is the Swoboda episode; anyone know?

I think there's a four hour theater-only production planned for Swoboda.
I've heard funding for the movie is coming out of Minnesota and the same group that wrote/directed/produced the critically acclaimed box office smash about the Weiders will be signed to do this film as well.
No brag, just fact: it is a movie whose time has come.

I watched the first episode of Strongland. I guess it was more interesting for me because I understand Spanish. I always hated reading something on the bottom while I'm watching a show. Being that I do stuff like this for work I would have no interest in doing it for fun. Much respect for guys like Dave and whoever else does this as exercise.

Finally watched that first episode. It was interesting and focussed more on introducing the sport as a cultural aspect, mostly with older lifters. It would be cool to see something that maybe followed the run up to a contest and gave more of a feel for the day itself.

I have watched the two episodes of Legends of Strength, maybe I will give Strongland a watch.
