You can improve your health, even extend your life, but genetics seems to play an even more significant role than anything else.
Didn't Jack LaLanne's brother outlive him by a year, even though he didn't give proper diet and exercise any attention?
I had an uncle who died just a few days short of 100. It was only a week or so that he was in the hospital , otherwise he lived at home. I'm sure he had never considered his family history when asked by someone about his secret to long life...he responded by saying, "I eat good, I sleep good, and I have peace with God.

I agree. All the healthy living in the world won't guarantee a long life. Charles Atlas, that paragon of health, died at the age of 79. Which isn't bad. I should live so long.

“Some say” that he used advanced training protocols, such as FMT when doing DVR
It is rumored he also trained with a cutting edge isometric apparatus, which allowed his nerve force to soar to off the charts levels.
RIP, Stan Lee.

Stan Lee smoked cigars and lived with a pacemaker implant for over 6 years, so those are probably why.
But, good on JeP protege Dr McDougall for showing class by capitalizing on a dead man's thank you note to use for marketing purposes on the day after he died.

Mr P., I thought same thing about the good Dr. Did not know he had pacemaker. I wonder if it was like Ironman's nuclear one.
