Grunt, I once asked you if you had ever sent JP webbing with D-rings sewn on the end. I forgot to take into account your propensity for cryptic answers. You said, "I've never sewn anything in my life". Thinking about that now, let me ask you if you had ever sent JP webbing, or any such material, with D-rings on it, tied, or in any manner attached to the webbing?

Oh. I'd better cover this angle, as well. Were D-rings, O-rings, or any other closed loop hardware attached?

I sent JP webbing with 2 heavy duty sliders to form the adjustable end loops of a crude Isociser/suspension device much like the Workshop versions . I never sent him my versions that used rings connected with a wrong knot; he used sewing to connect his rings and gave credit to author James Braley/Baley for the design and use of his Power Belt.

What...you mean...the $100 seatbelt as designed was never the brainchild of the Man in Lingerie???

Bruce/Grunt,
There's a post on Aging MM2 linked to this thread so the visitors to that board will know who designed the original belt.
And as we know, there was no reference to Baley in PYTP nor his YouTube video w/ the vitamin dude.

JP credited Baley in his isometric book . The Baley book on training includes weight lifting and isometrics. Moreover he gifted me the Baley book that described how to make an adjustable iso belt .Too bad Bruce deleted my gruntbrain2 post when for some unknown reason I posted it as a guest . Btw, I came up with that belt design before receiving the book; an adjustable Yoga stretching belt was my inspiration to develop a heavy duty large belt for extreme isometrics.

Oh, that was you, grunt? I'm sorry. I thought it was someone trying to be cute.

grunt, although he is sometimes cryptic, is a Sierra treasure! As I recall, he was the first I read to mention dead hangs, soon after I joined the old Zen forum. Bless him!
