In PYTP or Iso Revolution, JP also copied his warm up stretching routine from a Pavel stretching book

I can't believe what I'm hearing. I live in Minnesota, and the guy is a state treasure, what with his many marathon races and feats of strength. Plus, the guy was the underdog's vigilante. Read his posts; there are plenty describing the heroic action he took to defend the weak and defenseless.

It's definitely not needed by anyone. By the way Whiffet, I think you like some of Pavel's stuff. Beyond Bodybuilding is a very good book. Keith I do appologise for turning this thread negative. I hope You do get good use out of that book if that's what You like. Hey Jackrow Haven't seen nothing negative on these threads, it's all good. I have read it, enjoyed reading it, not sure if I will try the programs involved. Thanks for selling it to me. I enjoy reading these threads. Keith.

What is the aim of the book? Does it claim to be a good muscle building method or is the aim just to get up push up numbers?

What is the aim of the book? Does it claim to be a good muscle building method or is the aim just to get up push up numbers? I don't remember everything about it because I haven't read it in a long while. From what I remember it has three differant program, two for push ups and one for pull ups. One push up program is based on Grease The Groove and the other is a pyramid system if You can do GTG with push ups because of Your everyday life. The pull up program is a pyramid system. From what I remember You're only suppose to do one routine at a time. With the push ups that will be the only exercise You're doing. I didn't do the GTG routine, I did the pyramid one two times in a row. I said in the beginning of the thread that I gain 10 reps to my max push ups but I look at my journel, it was 20 the first time and 10 the second time. It's not a bad book or routines but I feel it could have been better. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, the aim is to get the push up numbers up, aesthenics physique, and conditioning.

In the book the routines are, in order, the push up mastery in which you train from six in the morning until an hour before bed, first you do pushups for maximum reps then you have a program to follow every hour. This is a seven day per week training.
Then you have the push up super blitz routine in which you train in the morning and evening, six days per week. Once again you start with the push up of choice and do maximum reps and then follow a program in the book.
Then there is the pull up program as we know this is a pyramid system, which is nothing new.
Then JP puts in the living strength 24/7 power circuit. Which is the guts routine in which he has written a book about it already, haven't got my hands on a copy yet.
JP states that doing the routines in the book you gain gain muscle size, whether you can or not, I haven't tried the routines yet. He asks you to train between 4 weeks or more. He lays out 7 different types of push ups but doesn't mention the Hindu push up, which he claimed for years to be the ultimate one to do, now he claims the, what JP calls the living strength push up, basically it's the atlas push up 3, the feet are higher than the hands, which are on blocks.
Is it any good, who knows but I feel if JP had treated people in past better maybe his books would have had a better reception and he didn't claim he had thought of all these methods.
Well if you have any questions, please ask. Sorry this thread went on a bit.
Keith.

It would also have served JeP well to treat others as he would like to be treated instead of lying, acting superior, stealing the work of others for his publications (ya, did you think he wrote that stuff himself?), continual fabrications and fantasies and acting like a total dysfunctional asshole. I think he compensates by acting that way since he knows, he really doesn't know jack-shit. There are guys around here who tried his stuff and started losing muscle/strength after an earnest run of 6 months or something like that. So, he can't even plagiarize other people's work without fucking it up.

Haven't heard anything from the Flexercize/Powerflex/WildWorkout family these days. Me thinks they got sued by Atlas Ltd. mayhap. I have seen the new dvds they did, the new 3 pack. It looks as if none if the boys train as much as they did before. It would have been a lot better if they had a new forum but I think they didn't want to answer any negative questions, who knows. Keith.

There was a time they had a forum on Peterson's site, and I believe there arose accusations of unfulfilled promises against Peterson, and non-payment of services rendered by Peterson. A nasty thread unfolded in the old Transformetrics forum in which one of the boys claimed he could do 63 pullups, and Peterson took it as an insult, in addition to being "The Isometric King," Peterson also claimed to be "The Pullup King," or some goofy title. Peterson jumped online and said he was sending a photographer to take videos of the Forystek lad doing 63 pullups, and all hell broke loose after that.
Classic comedy, but more than that, both parties' character and pettiness was revealed to the world.
Jim (or one of the Forystek lads) later said in an email to me that the family got tired of Peterson classifying their Powerflex system as a good "foundational course," while his Transformetrics system was superior and intended for those who wanted to gain "serious" strength and muscle. Jim noted that the he and his brothers were all built better than any of the Transformetrics' odd-squad - including Peterson - and Powerflex had the endorsement of a couple pro football players - true - while Transformetrics had no endorsements from any athlete at any level.
He also said Peterson is the last person who should cast aspersions about anyone's accomplishments...they knew for a fact he was incapable of doing a lot of what he claimed he did.
