I managed to find a LeMond Revmaster on Facebook Marketplace for $50. This thing is solid and weighs a ton (Slight exaggeration). It needed some work though. A bit rusty in places so I scraped and brass wire brushed and put olive oil on the rust because I couldn't be bothered with painting it. The seat and handlebar stems were wobbly and sort of held in place with hose clamps and tape. I fixed those problems. The brake wasn't working properly. Even with the brake supposedly off it was still touching the wheel. I found a video on Youtube about servicing the brake so I followed the instructions and now it works great.
I'm still getting used to using the bike as I've hardly ever used them before. I had one in England for a little while that I used for warming up on before weight training sessions but that's about it. I want to use this for working my legs. My knees are not great but I recently found that walking the stairs in the tower block (14 flights) we are working on seems to make my legs feel pretty good the day after. Certainly better than the day after squats (weighted or freehand) so I was trying find something similar so I came up with the idea of getting a spin bike. I made a few mistakes early on when using it but now I'm just going fairly easy with it and gradually building up the resistance. I certainly feel it in the upper parts of the legs after a session on it and my knees feel good the next day, m8s.

So, when can we expect the subscription video series with you doing workouts alternately pedaling and jumping off the bike to do bodyweight and/or dumbbell exercises? I've even thought up a great ending catch phrase. End the workout video by getting off the LeMond Revmaster, look directly into the camera and say with conviction "You can do this or do what you want to do. Nobody carfs M8".

Certainly better than the day after squats (weighted or freehand) Bruv I’ve been following the recommendation of the knees over toes guy when squatting and my knees feel so much better when I let my knees go past the toes. If I squat with knees over toes, the next day my knees ache terribly.
