Yesterday I logged on after probably 4 years and found out that Bruce Tackett passed away. Brought tears to my eyes. Bruce was a good-hearted man everyone liked. I'll be thinking of him next time I do triceps press downs with his awesome hook handles and cables and go beast mode to honor his legacy! :') I wish someone would step into his footsteps and continue his projects, keep improving and selling the training equipment and everything but I think the community would find it tasteless. I think Bruce would approve and find it awesome if someone continued his work. Anyways, I guess all good things come to an end eventually. However, I'll keep his legacy alive by working out with his equipment

He was such a lovely kind-hearted guy. I miss his humour on the forum. I still use my original handles and iso strap. I can’t see the iso strap will ever break; it is so well made.

I suspect a sense of his mortality was why Bruce posted the instructions about how to make the HOOK.
Not long after he died a load of us tried Bruce's big arm workout as a sort of tribute. In terms of muscle burn I'm pretty sure it was the hardest workout I've done in my life.

Seems like he was a great guy. I thought I had read something about him having some homemade fitness site as well but I’m not seeing it.

I am pretty sure I’m correct in saying that if you search “Bruce Tackett artist” on google that the artwork for sale was drawn by Bruce. Another of his talents.
