I've started drinking one in the a.m. and one before bed:
1 cup low carb milk (Fairlife) (3.99 for 6 servings = .65 cents) 1 raw egg ($3.75 for 18 = .21 each) 1 low carb yogurt (10 for $4 = .40 cents) a shot of honey = priceless
So a yummy 26 grams of protein for about $1.26 a shake. Hard to beat that when I look at the price of beef these days and a ribeye is something I will tell tales of to my grandchildren apparently.

I used a protein supplement in 2019 for probably 6-months. I had two favorites using it: (1) added to a large serving of Trader Joe's organic plain European yogurt. (2) added to steel cut oatmeal with a heaping tablespoon of flaxmeal.

Oats AND Flax, when you absolutely, positively need to take a dump. Flax gets 'er done.

I have used various concoctions over the years but I am not regular about using them. I have done similar to Capt K above slight mods
Any kind of milk in frig (skim, full fat, sometimes half and half diluted with water) Protein powder usually whey, but will put in a mixture of more slow releasing casein Liquid egg whites Nothing against real eggs, this just mixes quick and lasts a long time in frig. I prefer to eat the eggs rather than drink them Banana and/or blueberries A tablespoon or two of peanut butter Sometimes raw quick oats to make it fill me up more. I like steel cut oats a lot but does not really work here unless you cook them. That works too

Yeah, I think adding a tablespoon of peanut butter would be a nice addition, might try a tablespoon of coconut oil for some easy calories.

My protein are shakes free, but many females have found them too salty.
