Better or just more cost efficient?

Lighter springs ?... Pass...I'll stick with my ebay purchased Japanese X5 Gold for the week, and my 'Made in England' X5 for the weekends, FTW ! *Honorable mention goes to my very manly 'Steelbow 28' that sits next to the X5 Gold

...just went to their somewhat confusing website to check prices and see that the 'new' S3 comes with "5 interchangeable springs (0 – 25 lbs, 0 – 50 lbs, 0 – 75 lbs, 0 – 100 lbs. & 0 – 150 lbs)"...
Top pic in the ad Shows the 'new' model and the bottom pic with the multiple springs shows the 'old' model... ?
When you click 'Add to Cart' on the 'new' model it shows a pic of the 'old' model in your cart...
Hey 'Bullworker'... GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER !

Have the pandemic supply chains issues, and maybe relations with China, caught up with BW manufacturing? How much better are the springs really? Sounds more like cost efficient to me. So, with a 10% promo code (mach10) the Bow Classic is now down to $162 and free shipping. I would not spend $250 to test drive the new springs 'feels'. I was thinking they would come out with a new version about 2 months ago, but what would they do? A newer X5 of some kind is what I thought, but believe Hughes does not have that product license as Germany still produces that model. My ideal BW would be like the Bully Extreme (I like the metal straps better), but with the handle tubes like the X5 that have the 'lip' on the inside and are shorter to give more range than the Bully Extreme, AND the ability to interchange springs.....and don't forget a nice bag! ! I like the weight of heavier BW's as well. The BW 3 has a solid feel.

I was thinking they would come out with a new version about 2 months ago, but what would they do? A newer X5 of some kind is what I thought, I have a brown handled BW 3, an Iso7X 'Deluxe', a Steelbow 28, an X5 Gold, and 2 'Made in England' X5's... I also owned a newer 'Classic' (hated it, gave it away) and a green handled Bullworker 2 that I resold to a coworker for slightly less than I paid for it. Without a doubt there's a noticeable superior difference to me in the 'feel' of a 3 tube model as compared to the 2 tube models. I'm also a fan of steel cables over the X5 straps, and it's possible I could be coerced into a purchase of a new X5 'type' of Bullworker provided it had steel cables and MORE resistance, definitely NOT any less, so until that day comes I'll stick with my small collection. ***By the way, my favorite '2 tube' model is my ISO7X Deluxe. Despite being submerged in salt water during Hurricane Sandy its spring is waaay smoother than the BW 3's spring and the oversized rubber handles are much nicer than the small chintzy plastic handles on the BW 3. It just needs a bit more 'top end' resistance, but I use it 'as is' over the BW 3 any day of the week...

***You can find brand new ISO7X's on ebay for next to nothing, and I highly recommend them over anything else that's sold at over 10X the price elsewhere... ebay ISO7X for $10 plus shipping

It's still being sold on ebay www.ebay.com/itm/163311563435?epid=1800168540&hash=item260620b2ab:g:oqUAAOSwr3xbwOKfGive to family or friends. I had read reviews of how the original was better than these and decided to try it and purchased the BW 3. No noticeable difference in my opinion that would warrant spending more. The 7x is quieter and smoother IMO, but I do have a used BW3 even though it seems barely used. Both the same resistance within a few pounds as tested on a bathroom scale.

No problem, I'll send you both an ISO7X and cancel the order of four calling birds, three French hens and two turtle doves that I was originally sending...

It is still going strong and I use it regularly. I've never been able to pull the trigger on the new Bullworkers. Too expensive.
