Like many to the sport of rowing, he was a serious runner until his knees forced him to look elsewhere. Like how he gives himself some serious goals and strives to achieve them too

My Trikke T-12 Roadster. By far the best cardio training device I have ever invested in. I have used all the machines in gyms such as ellipticals, stair climbers, exercise bikes, Airdynes, Concept 2 rowers, etc. some of them I tried to squeeze into this little place to train at home. None of them come close to the safe effective outdoor whole body exercise I get from using the Trikke. It blows them away by a wide margin. If this using machine cannot lean me out and improve my endurance by a large margin, nothing can. It seems to be far better than Kettlebell swings, punching bags, and skipping rope. For me at this point in life it is a Miracle Machine. I am really really surprised that the Trikke is not far more well known and far more popular. Today my entire body feels like I overdid weight training at the gym, only better. Most of my body is fried, including abs and LUNGS. After I got home I definitely did not feel up to doing any more exercise of any kind for the rest of the day. This morning I so far do not feel up to doing my morning limbering exercises. Will still try to go out for a bicycle ride today, a far easier form of exertion, and alternate between the two. One day Trikke, the other day cycling. Until I get used to this, it might take quite a while before I get back to doing my other exercises. Over the years I have asked in online forums and many trainers in person what the best training devices were, including for cardio. The Trikke was never mentioned by any of them. I only learned about this device late last year, wish I knew about it sooner. It's is fun, definitely challenging, and it builds skill too. www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=4029469403740101&id=483298721690538

Full respect to this old dude, and all other ancient, exercising phenomenons.

Carlson always like seeing your posts and Avatar. "Hey it's clobbering time" always comes to mind. When I was a kid, a group of us would be staring each other and then someone would say that and we would kick the crap out of each other until tired. It was fun, though painful. I remember two big guys grabbing a tall skinny kid by his hands and legs and trying to stretch him out like Dr. Reed Richards.

The avatar is my own drawing, scribed with my own gnarled and calloused hands. I likes the sound of your youth times gamery, reminds me of one we would play -riot police, us youngest would be the criminals, we got 10 seconds to scarper and the older lads would then chase us down, take us to the cell (tent, corner, whatever) and beat us up. What a shitty game now I come to think of it.
