Captkronos I didn't watch the whole video but I watch enough to share my opinion. First he is telling You to squeeze the end of Your forearm as close to Your shoulder with Your elbow elevated. This can be done with almost any curl variation. This is peak contraction which is taught by bodybuilders, nothing new. Remember years ago Robby Robinson talking about this.
He makes it sound so complicated but it is not. He talks about maximum extension/stretch and this being the best exercise for that. Getting the arm extended behind You can be acommplished with band/cable curls with the same set up he's using, a low anchor. Also can be acommplished with incline curls. If You like that variation then have fun, there's nothing wrong with it. He makes it sound too complicated and like it's better than every bicep exercise.

The ultimate bicep movement….? I like this guy! Sure, he's a scrawny, pyjama wearing nerd with less muscle than Woody Allen on a 2 week fasting regime, but I like his Kamal toe curls, I for one cannot BELIEVE nobody has previously realised how we have all been missing out on this holy grail of biceps exercises. This is one brainy mofo! I'm off to the gym right now to wow the ladies with a live greased up and topless demonstration. "Mrs C, is it ok if I nip to the library to research how I can be a better husband? The holdall and vaseline? Erm, to put the library books in and to grease them up so I can squeeze more in." Ha, she won't suspect a thing.

You wouldn't need to twist around when using bands as bands already provide more resistance the more it is stretched but bands as most of you know, offer a lot less resistance at the start than they do at a fully contracted position and this guy is looking for a lot of resistance at the start as well as the top. I couldn't be bothered with doing curls on the cable machine at the local gym this way. I just know that there would be some guy there who only does dumbbell curls and has biceps twice the size of mine and he would be laughing his head off at me.
