I repeat the same pattern every year it seems. Christmas gets me used to eating more. I gain a bit of weight during the first few months of the year. Then I get very lean over summer. I’m always stronger when eating more. Getting very lean for me is chore to be honest. I do it each year, but I’m fighting my body all the time. Fasting worked best, but I had to stop that as I was getting some digestive issues.

Spermidine huh? Interesting. I see that legumes, beans, lentils are very high in this. 1st Place: Wheat germ. 2nd Place: soybeans. 3rd place: Beans! Beans! First two are ridiculously high. I'm practically a fertilizer factory on wheat germ. Still trying to sort out the "uremic toxin" designation spermidine has. However, wheat germ is the best off the shelf band-aid in a jar. Ur blood pressure will drop just eating this crap.

I'm obese, but not quite "severely obese" according to the NHS. Do You want to lose weight? I like Your honesty. Sure I do. Just, apparently, not enough.

But when spring and summer comes it comes off pretty easy. I'm always soak and wet with sweat from work. I tend to get really busy from March all the way to September/sometimes November. If I lived in a hot climate I would have no problem keeping my weight around 165-170 lbs all year round.

Do You want to lose weight? I like Your honesty. Sure I do. Just, apparently, not enough. Combine Spermidine laden foods like wheat germ with a daily Time Restricted Feeding schedule of 8 hours or less & it ought to ease ur efforts more to slim down? I average 2800 calories daily doing my OMAD. When I introduced wheat germ into my diet, something got jump-started. My chronic injuries started melting away & my fat index got noticeable lower too. I'm thinking, praying, dreaming & crapping wheat germ now. Ur own milage may vary. BTW, I'm still sorting out why Spermidine is classed as a "uremic toxin". "....Spermidine, a polyamine that acts as an autophagy inducer, has important benefits in patients with aging-associated diseases and metabolic dysfunction. ... Spermidine supplementation causes a significant loss of weight and improves insulin resistance in diet-induced obese (DIO) mice.Nov 5, 2020...." , Yeah You're right. I like Dave's dry humor and felt bad for him. Being someone that was overweight in the past, I know how I felt.

There may be 'perfect body' guys here, but I'm sure not one of them, so I have nothing to judge Dave or anyone else for. I know from experience on this forum that Dave is no weakling and has posted some good stuff, IMO, so I don't care anyway.

I'm not judging anyone here, so don't make it sound like I'm doing that.

I ordered the Bobs Red Mill wheat germ and it arrives tomorrow. How much are you taking? Time of day relevant?
