Recently I came across an interesting video for rings and gave them a try Tremendous workout for arms and chest but very strenuous ! I modified the exercise using a band hanging from a rafter in my garage which I passed over my head and around my chest to assist And also did them from an almost upright position like the guy in the video From there, I went slowly and carefully into the movement....I really felt it in my biceps, chest and shoulders I've been doing them for two weeks now, feeling my way through them and going nice and easy Without the band I wouldn't be able to do them.... But I'm getting a nice thorough movement and may just continue to do them as I am now If you have rings, this may interest you

Those are tough. I couldn’t do them.

I've messed with them in the past with a band as You said. They are pretty tough, high-level bodyweight move. I haven't messed with them for a long time but I don't think I'd be able to do them without a band either.

I don't think all of that is necessary, but I haven't done any formal evaluation. I use my rope/loop/handles thing on my The Hook Door Anchor to stretch at the moment of the movement when his arms are behind him and stretched out. Then I squat, twist or move about and sway or just hang out there like that for ? minutes. Picked it up from Pete Wagner.

Bear crawls with tyre sled. Throw in sandbags as needed inside the rim.

Check out time 6:55.I'm using this artifact & using that isometric for Post Activation Potentiation. However, I'm standing up planting a foot on a chairseat for same effect. Hit one leg only for that day for 5 minutes then walk 30 minutes. Jug carry is nice but aggrevates my impinged shoulders. Same with bear crawls. Tendon strains take a long time to heal. Working the legs has an anabolic effect on the entire body, strong sunlight activates melatonin, & going to bed at 10pm compliments both.
