I know this is nothing new, but I though he had a nice way of packaging the concept.

A few alternatives to consider:
a larger diameter lift bar for comfort( e.g. 1.5" diameter wood dowel )
webbing chains instead of steel
adjustable webbing instead of any type of chain
the addition of springs to get some feedback( a la Ross Enamait's is trainer)
the HOOK handles in addition to any type of bar

The Sierra Strap anchored to a board works quite well. Loops 1 and 30 can be the anchor points;the loops are 6" wide. The 15' Strap is sufficient to accommodate nearly all overhead press positions.
Try it, you'll like it .

Add a thrift store bathroom scale.

Add a thrift store bathroom scale. Yeah, and not the digital kind. You want the springy one, but I forget grunt's word for that.

A single old fashion analog bathroom scale does provide feedback for your isometric efforts but requires you to stand with a very narrow stance . A second scale will eliminate the narrow stance issue .

I've seen the idea of buying a plastic cutting board and then adding feet. www.amazon.com/dp/B074HQTJX5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Fop9FbDY4KBA7Have seen the manufactured boards with a channel cut into it for the band or strap, but they seem a bit expensive, and a luxury. wittersmanufacturing.com/shop/ols/products/19-x-10-x-15-hdpe

The use of a board can eliminate the need for two analog scales to make footprint wider.
