I have NO doubt that the Iranian strongman in the other thread will be doing this well or even better when he's the same age. On a more seriuos note, I think this or close to it is achievable for many.
But ONLY IF... 1. You keep your body weight close to what the is required for a normal BMI 2. You don't fuck up your joints by chasing pure strength 3. You do various bodyweight exercises and rehab/mobility type training to keep things working.
Chase bulk and strength and this likely won't be you. You are better off looking muscular due to low bodyfat than you are large muscles. Think Bruce Lee.

Numbers 1, 2, the bottom comment and half of number 3 I definitely agree with. When bodyweight exercises start crossing into gymnastic feats or excessive numbers they can screw you up just as quick as too much weight on the bar.

When bodyweight exercises start crossing into gymnastic feats or excessive numbers they can screw you up just as quick as too much weight on the bar. And I would agree with you on bodyweight. Avoid the excessive numbers and stay away from the gymnastic feats unless you built for it, i.e., under 5'7" and with short arms. My gangly 6'1" frame and ape arms are not conducive to being a gymnast. I'm going to coin a new term, or at least new to me. TOT Now you've all heard of TUT, time under tension. TOT is Trauma Over Time As you say excessive numbers of reps can be just as bad as too heavy. They both cause Trauma Over Time. A lot of little traumas (high reps) or fewer big traumas (low heavy reps) still lead to Trauma Over Time.

It's never too late. There is always something you can do and if you stay consistent you will reach a level that at the beginning you thought was impossible for you to reach. You just gotta do it regularly and stay motivated and somewhat consistent. Never force yourself to work out. If you don't wanna work out, don't work out. Do it one or two days later when you are really motivated. It's supposed to be fun because you will only stick to fun activities longterm.
