Some time ago, for anyone who wanted to gain appreciable muscle size and strength, weights were the only way to go. The problem with weights, though, is their size and expense. You either had to belong to a gym or have a gym in your home.
Strands have always been with us, but compared to weights, there have always been disadvantages that made them less desirable.
But now with The Hook, the best elements of both weights and strands have been combined into one efficient, effective, and inexpensive home gym. If the difference between weights and strands was the amount of resistance that could be used, that factor is no longer a concern, as you can quickly load The Hook up with more resistance than you'll ever be able to handle. If changing resistance on a chest expander was always a time-consuming detriment, that is no longer the case. Just drop bands into the Hook or lift them out, and your ready to exercise! The Hook, together with the Isometric/Suspension Trainer, will provide you with all you need to exercise every muscle in your body, quickly and effectively.
The Hook Gym is great for taking on vacations! It all fits neatly and easily into a suitcase along with all of your other belongings. In the mornings you get up and have some morning coffee followed by a fast, thorough workout, shower, breakfast, and then you're out the door feeling pumped and invigorated, ready to enjoy the day!
The Hook!

You can now get knockoff versions of The Hook from China, but they have handles fixed to the hooking part, whereas the real Hook has the handle bit attached via fabric, giving you a little more flexibility. Besides, The Hook handles can comfortably support several hundred pounds EACH. You want to be moving big weight, don't you? So buy The HOOK.

The people on this board, are certainly no worse-off for having bought The Hook.

We were renting an apartment while looking for a house to buy around Melbourne. The apartment block had a combined chest press and row machine in the gym. The handles were comfortable for pressing but I felt they were too thick for rowing so I attached "The Hook" handles and this worked really well. I have also attached the handles to webbing luggage straps which were hanging from rafters for chins.

I love The Hook System from Sierra Exercise Equipment. I not only use the stuff in its own context, but I also find ways to use the Sierra Equipment w/ other tools. One example is the rope loop w/ vinyl tube handles that I hang from The Hook Door-Anchor. "Having no limitation as limitation" applies to The Hook System. Multi-function and versatile, I wouldn't want to be without it and Bruce's guarantee is my assurance that I won't be. The Hook System, which would include the Suspension Trainer, etc, is a true value for anyone who actually USES the exercise equipment they buy.
