Those abs were made in the kitchen daily with black tea, clarified butter, spoonfuls of dried parsley, wheat germ & sauerkraut. How does it look? View AttachmentGood Job Moxohol! Looks like You're ready for that wrestling match again. Har! Har! HAR!...*cough-sputter*

I've finally regained function in my shoulders again! I graduated from DT movements to iso-holds with the exercises stated below that I assign much credit to for my mobility. More importantly, I ingest gelatin daily prior to any practice. My chest & abs have gotten more defined with the latter exercises described.
1) Towel pullups using a doortop starting from full contraction to a dead hang (static holds only). PNF style stretching here.
2) Starting with a support hold position (as with gymnastic rings), hands rotated outward on a str8 edged counter-top; then to an inverted L position with the legs together pressed against the pedestal base.

I bought a box of this today. How are you ingesting this? Are you doing the juice recipe on the back or pouring it in something? By the way, Bruce and I a were talking about sugar free jello a while back which the main ingredient is gelatin.

I dissolve my 2 sachets of fruity effervescent Vitamin C in water first & then dump half of the gelatin contents in afterwards & stir. Drink up. Done.

Since I'm always harping on this topic, I thought I'd present an informative digestable article about it. A true fast is longer than 24 hours & introduces ketosis (fat burning). 48 hours or longer initiates stem cells & recycling of old or damaged cells which is why I do it monthly. Anything beyond 5 day water fasts is a waste of time. 4 days minimum is required for tissue regeneration. The rule of thumb for 48h or longer is eating consecutive days afterwards double the time u fasted. Time restricted feeding has its own class of benefits that also compliments true fasts. For the over 50 crowd: autophagy begins to slow down & the process becomes corrupted with age. Intake of spermidine (wheat germ or soy) repairs autophagy like new. Strawberries remove senescent cells with efficacy & complete safety. Moreso, then any known senolytics. Kaempferol is important too because it stabilizes the structure of connective tissue proper and strengthens the walls of blood vessels as well as arresting degenerative back discs. The herb, dill, is quite high in this. 40 mg per 100g. So, I add a sprig of dill to compliment all my meals & drinks because I refuse to munch like a cow all day chewing my cuds but I do realize u must include ur greens. This is my workaround: dried parsley & dill. They are both cheap & easy to do. ================== Anti-Aging Benefits of Intermittent Fasting neurohacker.com/anti-aging-benefits-of-intermittent-fastingHealth-Promoting Properties of Apigenin and Kaempferol www.remedypublications.com/open-access/health-promoting-properties-of-apigenin-and-kaempferol-4710.pdf[EDIT: "fisetin" contained in huge amounts in strawberries has very poor bio-availability. Workaround: sprinkle black pepper on them. The piperine in black pepper increases absorption a thousand-fold]

Dunno how this small yet significant detail escaped me but it did. By now, most forum members know all about my crazy fetish for fasting. What I neglected to mention is my meal prep during refeed days: Most everything I consume is liquefied by a juicer & goes down the hatch (Julia Childs I am not!). I did it extensively during my rehab per my medical consultant & carried on with it afterwards. I guess he was really onto something? ".....As people age, their intestinal stem cells begin to lose their ability to regenerate. These stem cells are the source for all new intestinal cells, so this decline can make it more difficult to recover from gastrointestinal infections or other conditions that affect the intestine. This age-related loss of stem cell function can be reversed by a 24-hour fast, according to a new study from MIT biologists. The researchers found that fasting dramatically improves stem cells’ ability to regenerate, in both aged and young mice...."
