Went shopping at Walmart today. Couldn't find Oscar Mayer uncured bacon, but I found this:

The Hormel Natural Uncured Bacon is the other one I buy sometimes. I think it's as good as the Oscar Mayer. I watch for either of these to go on sale, buy 4 to 6 pkgs and have a bacon fest for a couple weeks.

I wanted to dress as Mr Potatohead, but they said it didn't fit the theme, so, I had to be a hog.

I've never really understood the big fuss about bacon? I hardly ever eat it. Mrs. BigBruvOfEnglandUK buys it for herself occasionally and I will sometimes have a rasher with whatever meat I am eating but most times I turn it down.

I just thought I would mention it seeing as you lot are making such a song and dance out of it. We had a mention of bacon in another thread and now we have a whole thread devoted to it. I might get Mrs. BigBruvOfEnglandUK to start posting here and everybody can be entralled with her stories about some food item that she bought that day.

Do people here like it crispy? And what about grilling vs frying? I prefer grilling, but have to admit that frying has a great taste.
I'd like to know whether Charles Atlas ate bacon.

I guess Bruv just doesn't understand the hallowed place bacon has in the States. It's not just a food, it's whole separate food group unto itself.

I was eating a lot of bacon before going vegan, me and me wife would share a 1lb package, we cook in the oven on a cookie sheet plus parchment paper, crispy but not over done.

I'd like to know whether Charles Atlas ate bacon. No , but like Bruv he enjoyed a chipolata.
