Also the special foam roller are a little pricey. How would a pool noodle with a wooden dowel through the center work?

Never. It will soon replace the bible as the world's best selling book.

Read the Amazon reviews of the Brady book especially the negative ones. For more laughs search TB12 Method in YouTube . If your are filthy rich get on the waiting list to enroll in the TB12 classes or at least buy the TB12 product. Who knows, maybe the hype is legit ?

Without making health claims, a large diameter pool noodle with an imbedded wooden dowel or PVC pipe is a decent massage tool. Of course, it doesn't vibrate like the TB12 Roller .

I'm a believer in someone else trying the TB12 Method and reporting their results . Does that make me an Agnostic?

I'm 100% onboard w/ his apparent adherence to taking a full compliment of minerals. It's a 'must do' for this time in history, IMO.

It is interesting to see Brady continuing to function on a high level into his mid 40s.
I wonder what his actual workouts look like and if they are, for the most part, focused around bands?

I'd argue ANYONE who doesn't lift extremely heavy weights, avoids injuries and eats a good diet can play into their 40's maybe even 50's in some sports. Most sportsmen hit their late 30's and settle down have kids eat all the cakes, sit on the sofa with the mrs at night with a beer and T.V, guys who keep their lifestyle at 100% whilst minimising injuries and changing how they play (insert sport) to a more intelligent way that doesn't rely on explosiveness are able to play for as long as they like I expect.

My wife got me Brady’s book for my birthday, even though In a 49ers and Jets fan, I started reading it, and so far it’s a pretty good book, just turned 64, there’s a few things that I’m going to apply to my routine, I have been doing resistance band work now for a while, and I do have to say, it’s a great workout and much easier on the joints, I use the 41 inch loop bands, and the next day , my body feels pretty damn good.
