I read a Georges Hebert book when I started sorting my life out last year, I remember seeing a comparison he made between a "Standard" lady of the time and one of his students at his palestra both nude top half (Of course I'd remember that bit more than the others  ) and he fully convinced me to make sure my kids are playing on parks (Playgrounds) and assault courses at least three times a week, my oldest son who is 4 years old can now hang from a set of monkey bars for 3 minutes without any strain, his sister 7 years old can hold for around the same, my other two kids are still in the baby stage of life I'm not recording their progress YET  |

I love the old stuff like this. That chick with abs (and boobs) is hot for any period of time. The video from 37' reminds me of this from the 30's:
Check out 8:00. It amazes me how these guys are about 12 or so feet in the air and jump down (like cats) without breaking something.
Lean and muscular out in the open air exercising daily, and not until failure. No wonder so many Nazi's from WW2 made it to about 100 years old.

Nice find, brothersteve. You're not going to believe this, but in the 1930's it was widely held that the most physically fit army in the world was the Italians. I recall they were called "an army of human panthers"...of course, their equipment, weapons, organization, tactics, leadership, and morale were all lousy, but boy could they march!

I love the old stuff like this. That chick with abs (and boobs) is hot for any period of time. The video from 37' reminds me of this from the 30's: Check out 8:00. It amazes me how these guys are about 12 or so feet in the air and jump down (like cats) without breaking something. Lean and muscular out in the open air exercising daily, and not until failure. No wonder so many Nazi's from WW2 made it to about 100 years old. This is really great brothersteve....but they are building the wrong kind of muscle ! There isn't a Transformetrics 50 foot long strap or a Bullworker anywhere in sight  |
