I reckon this is more true to life than was intended: this is so accurate of the typical brit who's had a few beers, it's some what effective for about 20 seconds before they're breathing through their arse and get dropped by a stiff jab!! Edit: For anyone that wants to see how ineffective this becomes if you are 1.completely overweight 2.a smoker and heavy drinker 3.gassed out in 20 seconds, Watch England hooligans vs Russian Ultras at euro 2016 where the Russians who are all trained martial artists and fit beat the shit out of some drunkard brits haha

I'm not saying this is THE ultimate fighting system but if you find martial arts and military history interesting like I do, this is definitely worth watching. It's also the whole DVD and not just a teaser trailer. Fairbairn and his American counterpart Rex Applegate were instrumental in forming the OSS in WW II.

Deuce Gunner, Thank you for posting that. I don't have time to watch the whole thing but will look at it tomorrow. Fairbairn's "Get Tough" was the first book on the subject that I got, and to show you how young I was, his book was the first time I ever saw the word "testicles"...then I got Styer's "Cold Steel" and then every book I could get. I must say I have a special liking for Pat O'Neil's method, probably because my whole interest in the subject was spurred by the movie "The Devil's Brigade"...there is a document called "Restricted Judo" that may still be online that is a good treatment of O'Neil's method although he may or may not have been the author. I always find it interesting to figure out what training these old timers had...We know that O'Neil learned stuff not normally taught to Westerners because he had a Chinese girlfriend and he was respectful of Chinese culture, in Leo Fong's book "Sil Lum Kung Fu" you find the same eye jab and kick that O'Neil taught, I'm pretty sure O'Neil learned it from kung fu. I also have good reason to believe that O'Neil had done a lot of ki training, at any rate after the war he was studying aikido. Fairbairn was responsible for recovering art treasures stolen from the Chinese royal house and as a consequence also got some training not normally shared with the round eyes...he apparently learned Bagua Zhang from some guy that was in the Imperial bodyguards. Thanks again.

Don’t wear a dress that falls over the knee, or even over the shin. Midi to maxi dresses are preferable for the dress code, as are heels. Don’t go too informal with your fabric choice. Opt for plain coloured dresses, rather than pieces with too much colour or print. However, a sophisticated floral pattern could work for a daytime lounge suit dress code in best summer wedding dresses of 2022. Call me my friend, we have much to discuss

As much as JeP talked about himself (and Uncle Wally) doing what Atlas did, John never performed any feats to demonstrate how 'his ways' could develop 'off the charts' functional strength. Just because he could do X number of pushups or pullups, why not enter a strongman or toughman contest and show the world what he cold do.

Good point BrotherSteve! If he was honest, which he never was, he really didn't do everything he said and if he did he was probably hurting to much to do other stuff. To much of anything will always cause problems.

To much of anything will always cause problems. "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18 Pride does NOT go before a fall, did you notice? Got to get that crap out of our heads.

It didn't take long for JPs claims to be at first, shaky....and later I didn't believe a word he stated And your point brothersteve is exactly why.....never a picture of JP doing anything

That could only have been MikeNY that would have said that. He could link anything to the ancient Greeks and Romans, m8.
